The Year in Review
(Part I)
Edited by Jon Marshall

Since it is our anniversary issue, and I decided that it would be nice to summarize some of the most helpful articles from the preceding year. It turned out to be a pretty monumental task that I decided was better divided between two issues. Following are exerpts from several articles published throughout the year. I tried to distill the information down to its barest essentials for space reasons, so if one of your favorite parts is left out, or transitions are a bit abrupt, you know why. Please forgive your weary editor
