Stuff for Sale FOR SALE: Weights and Bench 2008.10.06 2008.11.05 I'd really hate to see this go early... but it will need to go at some point so I'm reluctantly putting it up for sale now. A full set of weights (Star) including the bench and bars. All kept in great condition (no rust) and only 8-months old. Buying this in the shops isn't cheap as you pay per kilo. Sale includes: 1 star-locking (threaded) standard weight bar and 2 star-locking (threaded) dumbbell bars. Weights: 6 x 10kg 10 x 5kg 6 x 2.5kg 4 x 1kg It goes without saying that this stuff is heavy and you'll need either a willing taxi driver or a car to transport this. I'm only selling because of a change of plans as to the duration I plan on staying in Korea and is obviously too expensive to ship (and easier to just re-buy where I end up next). Stuff for Sale FOR SALE: Tables, Chairs, Sofas,... 2008.10.06 2008.11.05 A fair amount of stuff for sale here if anyone is interested. (a) 5 Plastic Tables (Red - 2 circle/3 square) and 10 accompanying plastic chairs (red). 8-months old, one or two showing signs of use. The whole set can go for W125,000. If you want you can buy separately at W30,000 each (1 table and 2 chairs). Photo upon request. (b) 2 Leatherette Sofas (1 faded yellow, 1 grey). Both are used although the faded yellow one is in much better condition (just a small patch of material missing and a slightly stained armrest). The grey one has a split cover and underbasing. You can easily just put a throw over them and they are fine. Both are very comfortable nonetheless and great to sleep on. Buyer needs to transport themselves (they won't fit in a taxi), probably via roof-rack or hire a bongo. Photo upon request. Yellow one can go for W15,000 the grey for W10,000. If you want both together then W20,000. (c) Small Electric Toaster Oven. Works very well (cooked a Christmas roast in it before!) in cooking all things from chicken/fish dishes to simple things like cakes or morning toast. Computers/Electronics FOR SALE: 30" Daewoo Silver TV 2008.10.06 2008.11.05 Not much more to say about it really. It works fine. It's big. 8-months old. Comes with a working remote (although the casing is cracked where the batteries are inserted). It's silver/grey in colour and sounds great whether watching tv, a dvd movie, or playing video games. I don't need it anymore since I have a new HDTV. You could probably carry this back via the subway if you have a bit of meat on your arms, but in all honesty a taxi would be just as good. W125,000

Computers/Electronics FOR SALE: Portable Panasonic CD ... 2008.10.06 2008.11.05 This is a large portable, twin-cassette, Panasonic RX-ED55 player with CD and Radio playback. It comes with a working remote and a small convertor so that it can work in Korea (or Europe for that matter). Has an Optical Out port on the back and can run on batteries. It is in Japanese but comes with a full English instruction manual. It is unboxed but easy to carry. I used it originally at work specifically for copying student cassettes and CD's. It doesn't, however, play MP3 CD's or the like. Useful as a back-up alarm clock too! W25,000 Cheers!
Music Gear (buy/sell) FOR SALE: Digital Piano 2008.10.06 2008.11.05 This is a full-sized Emille piano in all shape and form along with the three pedals. However, despite appearances, it is in fact a digital piano under the hood. It can therefore do all the things that one would expect an digital/electronic piano to do. You can change the sounds/instruments/performance; record and playback; and a host of other things. The piano itself is barely 8-months old and is in superb working order. It is dusty as it has been used in a basement. Comes complete with the original stool. I have currently dismantled the frame for ease of transportation for whomever buys it. All the parts are present along with the screws and spanner. Reassembling is straightforward. However, the piano is very heavy and anyone thinking of purchasing this would need some form of transportation as it would not be possible to lug it across the city on the bus/subway.
