Start: 22:00 End: 00:00 Korea's number one homegrown female DJ is back from Canada for one month and will be playing an extended set at Vinyl Underground tonight, as well as for the rest of the month. She will also be playing the Big Room Productions: Speaka' Box Pop event on Friday April 25th at the Grand Hotel in Haeundae as well as the Big Room Productions Steve Porter Event Friday May 2nd at Lotte Hotel Busan's Emerald Room. Baeta is one of the main reasons Vinyl Underground, after 5+ years remains Busans biggest, most consistent and longest running underground electronic music night. Socrates Cafe Start: 11:00 End: 13:00 We meet weekly to discuss the important and not-so-important philosophical questions of life. In the spirit of Socrates, we practice a living philosophical inquiry, to, from many angles, examine one all-important question, "What is the good life?" We don't take ourselves too seriously, because life is too important to take seriously. We cultivate our own questions and vote on them; so, if you can come, bring a question along! Or, just come and listen to us spar as fools and philosophers! Cribbage Tournament Start: 11:00 End: 19:00 Yes, it's finally here. We've heard all your smack-talk, now it's time to come and prove it crib players. There'll be a crib tourney on April 13th at O'Brien's in Gaya. Cost 20,000 won. It'll be an all day event (if you win) with the first round being in two heats starting at 11am and 1pm. Single elimination and first round will be best of 5. More details and rules will follow after we have confirmed players. You must pay to register and only 32 will play, so first come, only play. You can sign-up and pay at O'Brien's. Also, if you have crib boards let us know. Haeundae Beach Volleyball Start: 14:00 End: 18:00 Come and join us at Haeundae Beach for beach volleyball every Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Drop-ins welcome. In front of the Novotel, early afternoon until dark. Mission Impossible 3, Beach Movie Start: 21:30 On weekends throughout the spring and summer, the Suyong Gu office will be hosting free movies on the big screen at the end of Kwangalli beach.
