Busan International Performing Arts Festival Start: 00:00 End: 23:59 The 5th Busan International Performing Arts Festival runs from May 3 to May 15, 2008. The website is here: http://bipaf.org/ and click on 'English' in the top right corner for English information. As of today (April 11th) the English website wasn't fully updated, but check back regularly for full details. As soon as the full program is available, we will post it on Pusanweb. Busan International Motor Show Start: 00:00 End: 23:59 The Busan Motor Show is open to the public from May 3 to May 12 at BEXCO. The gates are open from 10:00 to 18:00 daily. Tickets are available at the door for 6,000 won a head. There are lots of special events going on throughout the Motor Show. More information is available on the website: http://www.bimos.co.kr/english/main/main.php Socrates Cafe Start: 11:00 End: 13:00 We meet weekly to discuss the important and not-so-important philosophical questions of life. In the spirit of Socrates, we practice a living philosophical inquiry, to, from many angles, examine one all-important question, "What is the good life?" We don't take ourselves too seriously, because life is too important to take seriously. We cultivate our own questions and vote on them; so, if you can come, bring a question along! Or, just come and listen to us spar as fools and philosophers! Haeundae Beach Volleyball Start: 14:00 End: 18:00 Come and join us at Haeundae Beach for beach volleyball every Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Drop-ins welcome.
