Poetry Plus+ nights go down every six weeks or so at a local jazz club named after Thelonius Sphere Monk, jazz pianist. English teachers from Canada, the U.S., Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand, U.S. soldiers, Koreans, folks from back home and various nether regions, the inebriated and harmless, and the curious but well-behaved all gather from throughout the peninsula. Everyone chills, digs some words and stories, even one-act plays and comedy routines. Sometimes a juggler gets up on stage and does his thing. Singers and guitarists kick out jams. It's a night to hang out with chingus (friends), become better acquainted with familiar faces, and be lifted out of the get up and go, hustle and bustle, run-a-round shuffle of the academic/showtime blues. Enjoy the action that went down at Poetry Plus+11 & 12, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 & 32. and also pick up a copy of the Poetry Plus+ Anthology 1: "Crowded, Comfortable, Cool, & Cohesive" at the next Poetry Plus+ or send an email to: pusanpoetryplus@hotmail.com and arrangements will be made to get a copy put into your hands.
