finds the Bear woman shut-eyed
cross-legged rocking chanting
9 months later
the Dragon Pool's cliffs
reverberate her groans
as she squats under a white birch
giving birth to a boy Tangun
(Part of a longer work entitled "Owlman's Dance"-
a versed shamanistic kut between 1995 and 1998
mostly written in Taegu,Seoul,temples and mountains
juxtaposing/blending Korean (Siberian) myth/legend/
phenomenal present...)
