Gentle Reader:
The paper is doing really well. I am overwhelmed by the amount of support that I am receiving to keep it going. Some of you may be surprised by that last statement, but since I put out a "distress" call, many people have responded. Creatively, i.e. submissions, are doing well. Please keep them coming, and if there is an article that you’d like to see in the paper but haven’t, then write it or find someone who can. If there is an change that you think will improve the paper, don’t just tell me about it, but set the wheel in motion, ride it through! Celebrate the production of the paper! Really, doing the paper is the best thing that ever happened to me, afterall, "idle hands are the devil’s work shop."
On a more serious note, if you could find some time to help with DISTRIBUTION, I could use someone to deliver papers to Camp Hialieh’s Gate Four, or other places around town. Or, if you could help with the ADVERTISERS, Jennifer could always use a hand. Or, if you could help with the CUT AND PASTE segment, especially if you have experience, it would make the paper look so much better. Although, I think it just keeps looking better and better. Um, one more, how about an HEAD EDITOR’S ASSISTANT? Someone who could help make phone calls, and visit troubled advertisers, or run down information for articles. Man, that would be great.
Keep the groove thing flowing expats, and I’ll be. . .
See you around town,
Jon Marshall, editor

If you think you want to write an article, but are fresh out of ideas, consider the following:
* Review a Lotte Giants game, or a KBL game.
* Write a "What I did for the Summer" piece.
* Tell me what your favourite toilet (that isn't your own) is in Pusan and why (a potential composite piece).
* Review the attractions of your neighborhood.
* Tell us about your expectations of coming to Korea, and if they're being met.
* Explain the difference between Korean and Western age.
