Busa KOTESOL Monthly Meeting

The Busan branch of KOTESOL meets the third Saturday of every month from 2:00 until about 5:00. There are two speakers each month speaking on a range of ESL/EFL teacher related topics. The first speaker usually begins at about 2:30.

The meetings are open to everyone-you don't need to be a KOTESOL member to attend.

The meetings take place in room 606 at the ESS Language Institute in Nampodong. Old time KOTESOL members will already know this place, as it is where the chapter used to meet. ESS is the oldest Hagwon in Korea (founded in 1960) and some of you may know it, as that is where Oxford University Press often makes presentations in Busan.

The directions to ESS are reasonably simple, from the Busan Subway Line 1 Nampodong Subway station go out exit 3. You should be on the “Nampodong” side of the street, not the “Chagalchi” or harbor side. ESS Foreign Language Institute is in the shopping district, right around the corner. When you exit the subway aboveground you will see Nonghyup Bank at the intersection. Around the corner, walk about 20 meters, and that's ESS Foreign Language Institute!
