강원도 í•œ 소도시의 도장집 주인 태한은 아내의 불륜 현장을 목도해야겠다고 결심하고 아내의 애인이 ì‚´ê³  있는 서울로 향한다. 태한은 아내의 애인인 택시기사 중식의 택시를 잡아타고, 장거리를 가자고 제안한다. 아내의 애인과의 드라이브가 시작된다. 태한과 중식은 강원도행 국도를 달리면서 여러 상황과 만나게 된다. 때로는 어색한 적막감에 휩싸이기도 하고, 기묘한 신경전을 벌이기도 하고, 또한 일체감으로 호들갑을 떨기도 한다. 

Tae-han runs a small stamp shop in a small town. One day finding out that his wife is having an affair, he decides to witness his wife`s infidelity before his eyes. Knowing that his wife`s lover, Joong-sik, is taxi driver, he goes to Seoul, intentionally gets Joong-sik`s cab and asks for a long-distance drive. They encounter various situations; sometimes fighting, sometimes sharing excitements.

Shy yet sincere Ki-soo, who barely makes his living as driver, dreams to be a band drummer. He takes care of his brother`s son, let alone Jong-dae who became sexually disabled from the accident that may be caused by Ki-soo. Ki-soo feels insecure about Jong-dae`s doing errand for a villain Mr. Kim, but he just happened to get closer to Mr.Kim. All that Ki-soo wants is to do the best for Jong-dae and his nephew, but it never gets easy.

섬에 사는 어부 영철은 친구 준구에게 상어 í•œ 마리를 보여주기 위해 무더운 여름 도시에 나타난다. 준구는 노름에 ë¹ ì ¸ 보이질 ì•Šê³  영철 가방 속의 상어는 부패해 간다. 영철이 공원에서 우연히 만난 유수는 자신의 집이 어딘지 몰라 방황하고 있는 교도소 출소자이다. 땡볕아래 공원 한가운데 서서 비를 염원하고 있던 미친 여자 은숙이 영철과 유수를 쫓기 시작한다. 은숙은 상어의 썩는 냄새가 자신이 사산한 아기의 냄새라고 착각하고 있다. 

A fisherman, Yeong-cheol, who lives in an island, arrives at a city in the hot summer to show a white shark to his friend, Jun-gu. Jun-gu who is busy with gambling, and the shark in Yeong-cheol`s bag is going bad. Yu-su is released from prison and wandering from street to street not knowing where he can find his house. A crazy woman, Eun-suk praying starts to chase Yeong-cheol and Yu-su. She thinks the stink of the rotting shark is her dead baby`s smell.

고시 준비생인 수영은 배우가 되고 싶어서 극단을 찾아간다. 늦은 나이에 인생의 돌파구를 찾으려는 수영의 마음은 급하기만 하다. 극단은 실험극을 준비하면서 지환이란 배우를 섭외하려 한다. 수영은 지환에게 훌륭한 배우가 되는 법을 배우고 싶어 그를 만나러 강원도 산속까지 찾아가지만, 지환의 실제 모습을 보고 혼란에 빠진다.

Soo-young, an applicant for national officer, wants to be an actor and joins a theater. He is impatient to break through his life thinking of his age. The theater prepares for an experimental play and tries to cast, Ji-hwan for a role. Soo-young hopes to learn to be a great actor from Ji-hwan. After he goes to see Ji-hwan, he gets disappointed and confused with Ji-hwan’s real life.
