The Vinyl Underground 5 Year Anniversary

Since 2002, the Vinyl Underground has represented the spectrum of underground electronic dance music: specializing in all genres / tempos of broken beats (breaks, hip hop, jungle, reggae, funk, drum'n'bass and dubstep). The night originally started as an unplanned and last minute event. Canadian djs Sundance kid, Electron and Mr. Fudge received a call from Dong Ha (club owner), saying that he had just opened up a new club in Kyung Sung Dae and that the band that was scheduled to play could not make it down. The club (that did not yet have a name) needed some proper music to fill the night. The three djs carried Mr. Fudge's turntables and mixer down to the club with 3 full bags of records. The night went off and the music shook the dancefloor. DJ G was on stage alongside the decks the whole night pumping up the crowd. The following day Dong Ha named the club the 'Vinyl Underground', and the rest is history.
Saturday nights down at Vinyl have been the busiest and most consistent electronic music night the city has ever experienced. The night has maintained a steady rotation of talented artists over the years (Sundance Kid, Electron, Viet, G, Baeta, Short Fiction, Dust, Jon Lockley, Brian Kelly, Judonomi, accomplice, Macca, Audio Tsunami, Miego, J, Mech Tech, Professor and Mr. Fudge) and shows no sign of slowing down.
On this special night, come join the party as the Vinyl Underground celebrates its 5 year anniversary in style with residents; Short Fiction; Mr. Fudge; Miego; Dust; Mech Tech; Jon Lockley; Macca; Audio Tsunami; J; Professor; accomplice; and Judonomi in two rooms (Vinyl Underground, and Ol'55).
We thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor. It is on!
